We had the miso ramen, the double fried chicken, and the tempura cheese curds. Everything came out great.
I would highly recommend the double fried chicken. The large portion is perfect for splitting, and they give you wings and drums.
I’ve gone to roosterspin a couple of times now and their corn never disappoints. This time we also got to try their sushi, which was also delicious, scallion pancake (a little burnt but still tasted good), and a few other items. Overall food was great and the atmosphere was good for a casual dinner to even a date night.
Came in for a late lunch around 1:30pm. The restaurant was nearly empty. Vibe seems pretty chill. It is super dark in there.
Service seemed slow despite only a few customers being there. Food also took awhile to get to us.
The ramen tacos were pretty awesome. Very flavorful and really fresh. Was definitely fun having the shell be ramen noodles. If it wasn't so salty, it would be perfect.
The yaki udon was also very good. I asked for no scallop and more shrimp. The shrimp and calamari was also really fresh here. Veggies had a nice snap. Really nice flavors, just a little too sweet.
Good food. I really liked garlic fried rice, chicken sandwich and cream soda.
Celebrated a birthday here with family and friends, we rented the large karaoke room. Booking was a breeze, staff was incredible and the food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed themselves. The entire experience was awesome! There are a lot of places like this in NYC, it is very nice to have this available close to home. Book a party! You won’t regret it!
That double fried chicken was drool worthy.
I say go there just for that item it is 100% all the hype, crunchy not overfried or greasy, tender on the inside. The spicy garlic soy was fire. You have to wait 25ish minutes because its made to order but it didn't feel that long.
Now the surprise to me was the Mango Salad, I opt to not get salads when in a restaurant they are always overpriced and undeliver but this salad was bountiful, and all the flavor gelled together perfectly, made feel balanced with the fried chicken.
My friend got the fries which are steak fries portions and they were seasoned and good.
Love the interior/how the staff is dressed and the vibe. The hostess was lovely when i walked in with no reservation, a basically at capacity and she still said not a problem and sat me.
I'd return.
Really enjoyed this place. Came here for my birthday dinner and was very surprised and the selection of delicious items on the menu. The double fried chicken is so crunchy and so juicy it's a great dish to let everyone have a peice. I got the kraze burger which was so flavorful and a nice kick of spice. My favorite dish was the chicken and waffles with the blueberry syrup. It was sta ked beautifully and had a hasbrown in the center. So good! Would definitely recommend this place and they have great non alcoholic drinks for you to mix when you BYOB. Can't wait to come again.
Their fried chicken sandwich is huuuuge and and the chicken is so crispy. I like the chips that come with it, but I request it without the glaze. Chicken and waffles here are amazing. The service was fast. I wished the kimchi fries came with actual kimchi on it. I’ve had it elsewhere where it has cheese and kimchi loaded on, so these kimchi fries were boring in comparison.
